A single-contractor metalwork package for a residential development — structural steel first, then the architectural metalwork phased behind the wet trades.
Running the structure and the finishes through one shop kept the finish, the colour and the detailing consistent from the gate through to the staircase balustrade, and removed the coordination gap where a separate structural contractor usually hands over to a separate fabricator.
